The Qube AGM is an advanced Above Ground Marker designed for pipeline pig tracking. It detects the passage of pipeline pigs equipped with Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) magnetizers, electromagnetic (EM) transmitters, or acoustically via its built-in geophone.

The Qube AGM features multiple communication options, including LTE cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and optional satellite connectivity, enabling real-time data transmission to CDI’s GlobalTrack cloud service. This integration allows stakeholders to monitor pipeline operations remotely, access real-time sensor data, and receive immediate run reports upon tool retrieval.

The Qube AGM and GlobalTrack work together as a powerful system for real-time pipeline pig tracking. The Qube, when deployed along the pipeline, detects pig passages and sends this data to GlobalTrack, our browser-based platform, where any number of people can monitor the location of the tool in real-time.

Using GlobalTrack, you can create projects, import pipeline centerlines, and assign Qube devices to specific Projects and Runs. Once configured, GlobalTrack automatically updates Runs with each pig passage detected by the Qubes., allowing you to track pipeline activity, view live locations, and access a complete record of events—all from any browser. This streamlined connection between the Qube and GlobalTrack offers an efficient and accessible way to monitor pipeline inspection runs in real time.
