Description
The MANTIS 820 is designed to track moving pigs, locate stuck pigs, or monitor for pig movements using trip-wires. The data processing electronics housing is affixed to the ROV’s chassis, while the electromagnetic antenna is held in the manipulator arm. The data is fed up to the ROV’s data multiplexer and decoded. The MANTIS User Interface software interprets the data stream and displays up to three transmitter frequencies, allowing unique and unambiguous tracking of up to three separate pipeline pigs. It is a reliable and accurate solution for subsea pipeline pig tracking.
